FIRST SPARK

I got in touch with Hip-Hop and Dance after watching a lifechanging performance by Justin Timberlake at the MTV VMA’s 2002. Not too long after I discovered that Marty Kudelka was responsible for the fascinating dance routine.
The first impression affected in such a positive way that my first choreo learnt was the original to “Like I Love You”

I continued learning and studying more JT choreographies which generated immense dedication and ambition towards Hip-Hop/Choreography.
TANZWERK Story

When people in my former school heard about my dancing “skills”, a teacher invited/asked me to perform at the Christmas recital of our school.
After this scary but also uplifting moment of being on stage by my own for the first time, I had the chance to audition for TANZWERK Wels (danceschool).
I started to take classes and got recruited into a danceteam to compete on national and international grounds.
My competition career started with great success and so the history took its course.

CHOREOGRAPHER

in 2007 a new era awakened for me. I have choreographed my first solo combo and got awarded with BEST MALE SOLO at the European Open in RIJEKA. From that point on things snowballed to success on my path as a choreographer and dancer.
Driven by the inspirations named Marty Kudelka, Shaun Evaristo, Elm Pizarro, Gigi Torres and many more, I have developed a style impacted not just Austria.
2008 all-boys-crew “CompanyX” was founded and broke all records back then in ASDU History.
We even made it to win the WORLD Champion title at the IDC in Orlando.
2011 we had the opportunity to prove our talent on television and reach a bigger audience with dance.
Meanwhile we have established the a next generation boys-crew “CompanyJay”. They have gone through a major improvement over the years and with great commitment and fun there came success with trophies.

TEACHINGS
"...as danceteachers we dont soley have the responsibility to transmit and project to our students properly but also promote the specific, special feeling in the execution of our moves..."
Currently I’m teaching at my homebase Tanzschule Hippmann and also travel around the globe to share my perspective on the art and my dancewisdom.
ACHIEVEMENT
"...Success is not a single event. Success is constantly happening and taking place on a daily basis. Regardsless of the size of your goals, you should always appreciate every sense of achievement. Every single little thing will eventually shape towards a bigger cause. If your success inspires and motivates other people you can be certain that you have done everything right..."
My biggest achievement so far was to work with my idol Mart Kudelka.
Under his wing we were able to work together on a concept video.
For me personally this whole experience came full circle and will always reside in my treasure box.
